Conversations Woven in Space

Nassour Architecture Office (NAO) is a Dubai-based collective of architects and engineers working across urban, architectural, installation, and research projects throughout the Middle East. Founded and led by architect Reem Nassour, the practice embraces a contextual and human-centered approach to design—one that responds to the specificity of place, the intimacy of human scale, and the embedded stories within each brief.

At NAO, space is seen as a conversation—between people, materials, forms and the environment. Through thoughtful, hands-on processes, the studio crafts spatial narratives that foster dialogue, connection, and a sense of belonging. Each project is shaped with intention, merging the tactile sensibility of the human hand with broader cultural and environmental frameworks allowing architecture to serve as a backdrop for life to unfold.

Overseeing projects from initial concept through licensing and execution, NAO offers a holistic and hands-on approach to space-making. The studio merges architectural theory with rigorous practice, ensuring that each project—regardless of scale—is both conceptually grounded and precisely delivered. With a growing portfolio across the UAE, NAO is currently executing residential, institutional, retail, and infrastructural projects. Recent completions include EA Residence, a 1,900 sqm private villa in Umm Al Sheif that personifies domestic spatiality, and Sadeem’s Pop-Up in Marsa Drive—a temporary installation conceived and executed in 7 days.

  • THE NARRATIVE THAT CONNECTS

Is not only about expression—it is about engagement, response, and provocation. Each project is a living dialog, shaped by its users and their social, environmental, and cultural contexts, allowing spaces to tell their own stories rather than impose fixed ideologies.

  • THE HAND THAT BREATHES LIFE

Working with the hand is an act of care; every intervention is crafted with intention and sensitivity—ensuring a deep connection between the site, materials, and the users. Gesture and craftsmanship are woven into our process, sculpting spaces that feel human.

  • THE QUESTION THAT SPARKS CHANGE

We believe in always questioning the world around us—challenging assumptions, rethinking systems, and rewriting narratives. Each project is an opportunity to explore, disrupt, and craft meaningful interventions that are rooted in place yet open to new possibilities.
